The Two Levels

Foundation

Phase 1 Approx 14-16 months

The Spiritual Counselling Modules – this is a qualification in itself and may well be as far as you need to take the training, if your primary aim is to work as a spiritual counsellor/coach. You will be equipped to address many of the issues that a client may approach a conventional life coach or counselor with, whilst offering a deeper perspective. This is also an excellent conversion course for those who have taken a conventional counselling training but felt that something was missing either in terms of a less heady approach or an increased range of more practical tools (e.g. being able to apply a simple energy technique or another holistic healing method can sometimes saves hours of ‘talking about it’ – also many clients who seek counselling or coaching report being put off or hesitating due to a preconception (often justified) that it may all be a bit too heady and analytical. Spiritual Counseling offers an antidote to this client concern as you as a practitioner will either already be someone who does or you will learn to integrate the mental approach with a heart based orientation which incorporates practical holistic therapies which are often more appropriate and effective than conventional listening and analysing strategies.

Psychotherapy Component

Phase 2 Phase 1 Approx 14-16 months

The focused Psychospiritual Psychotherapy Modules – has spiritual counselling as a prerequisite but now moves focus to more overtly address the deeper aspects of our nature. Whereas the spiritual counseling course will embrace spiritual seekers from a wide area (e.g. people who are interested in mindfulness, psychic phenomena, eco aware, empaths, shamanism, new age (e.g. those with an interest spiritual guides, ascension etc) and those practising buddhism, christianity, paganism or any religion) the psychotherapy course is more oriented towards what we consider the core essence of all these approaches. This does however mean that whereas the spiritual counsellor course may be the perfect path at this time, the psychotherapy course may not resonate so much if your focus is more on e.g. psychic readings, new age methods or for example a particular religion. This is fine as it is possible to complete with the spiritual counselling qualification and you will be joining close to two thousand others globally who completed at this point.

If your interest however also encompassess the topics of the psychospiritual psychotherapy diploma or perhaps you are someone who has had an awakening to your true nature and your goal is now to gain a professional umbrella in order to be of service to others then you will be welcome. For this reason everyone will need to gain rounded roots in the spiritual counselling subjects first as a prerequisite rather than just jumping on at the psychotherapy modules. This will build a strong foundation of understanding and experience of the wide ranging interests and paths that may form the background for your future clients. These Clients will usually be those who are at some stage drawn to exploring their deeper nature through Psychospiritual Psychotherapy.
