The course spans approximately two and a half years, including a 14-16 month foundational Holistic Counselling Diploma and a similar duration for the Psychotherapy component.

Yes, the prerequisite for the Psychotherapy component is the completion of the foundational Holistic Counselling Diploma, which comprises 14 modules. Besides this empathy, compassion and a potential to be able to hold the pace for others are the main traits we look for.

Although there is much crossover Counselling focuses on more short term and immediate issues, whilst Psychospiritual Psychotherapy delves into deeper aspects of human nature. You can read more in our article ‘What’s the difference between Counselling and Pyschotherapy?’

Yes, the Spiritual Counselling Modules provide you with the skills needed to work as a spiritual counsellor or coach, offering a unique perspective on common client issues.

It might be possible to fast track most of the foundational year except for a couple of modules such as Soul Plan (which you will not have been able to learn elsewhere). However in theory if you started in the second year these could be taken during that year and it will  simply mean you may have two modules in some months. There are different levels and requirements as to how much can be credited which will vary depending on your background. For example an experienced Psychotherapist / Counsellor Level 4 and beyond who has also taken other trainings such as Internal Family Systems and perhaps also trained in some holistic systems such as Astrology in depth will have far less modules required than someone who has simply taken a standard counselling training who we would possibly require to take most of the foundation. This can be determined in the discovery call.

Yes, the course is open to individuals from diverse spiritual backgrounds and belief systems, providing a versatile and inclusive approach to therapy.

A small part of the course, taken in between the live modules, includes short online lectures that you can watch at your own pace.

This element of the training is not academically demanding and is not marked or graded in any way. Its purpose is simply to deepen your understanding and confidence, not to test or assess you.

The content gives clear, accessible insight into where key ideas in transpersonal and integrative psychotherapy come from, alongside a straightforward introduction to some of the scientific perspectives shaping modern mental health practice. It is presented in an engaging, down-to-earth way and does not require any prior academic background.

Many psychotherapists qualify with very limited exposure to these wider frameworks. This part of the course is designed to gently fill that gap, helping you become a more informed, confident and grounded practitioner which future clients will sense and be reassured by.
